Lambswool is wool obtained from a young sheep's first shearing, producing fine, soft fibres with a naturally springy handle. It is warm and breathable and is commonly used for knitwear, coats and other cold-weather garments.

Gabardine is a tightly woven, dense twill with a smooth surface and clearly defined diagonal lines. It is generally firm and durable and holds its shape well. Compared with lighter twills, gabardine has a more compact surface and is commonly used for trousers, coats, suits and tailored garments.
