Cookie Policy

Last updated: 31 August 2026

We keep cookies to the absolute minimum. This page explains what we use and why — in plain terms.

The short version

We use one essential cookie, and only after you sign in — to keep you logged in. We use no advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and our analytics does not use cookies at all. Because we only use strictly-necessary cookies, no consent is legally required — but we tell you anyway, and we give you an analytics toggle.

Essential cookie

When you sign in, we set a single secure, http-only session cookie so the site remembers you’re logged in and can show your favourites. It is set only for signed-in users, is not used for tracking or advertising, and cannot be switched off while you are logged in — the site can’t keep you signed in without it. Signing out removes it.

Analytics — cookieless

To understand roughly how the site is used (page views), we use a privacy-first, self-hosted analytics tool (Umami). It does not set cookies, does not collect data that identifies you, and respects your browser’s “Do Not Track” setting. You can still turn it off via Manage cookies in the banner at the bottom of the site.

No third-party tracking

We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, social media trackers, or any similar third-party tracking cookies. When you click through to a retailer, that is a separate website with its own cookies and policy.

Managing cookies

You can control cookies in your browser settings, and clear them at any time. Blocking the essential cookie will simply mean you can’t stay signed in.
