Lambswool is wool obtained from a young sheep's first shearing, producing fine, soft fibres with a naturally springy handle. It is warm and breathable and is commonly used for knitwear, coats and other cold-weather garments.

Founded in Rome in 1925 by Adele and Edoardo Fendi, the house began as a handbag shop and fur workshop and developed into one of Italy's major luxury fashion houses.
