Linen is a natural fibre derived from the flax plant. Known for its strength, breathability and distinctive texture, it offers excellent comfort in warm weather and becomes softer with wear. Flax generally requires little irrigation and relatively few pesticides, contributing to linen's reputation as a lower-impact fibre.

Broadcloth is a smooth, densely woven plain-weave fabric with a fine, uniform surface. It is generally softer and less crisp than poplin and is commonly used for shirts and lightweight garments.
