Ecojilin is a viscose fibre made using pre-consumer cotton linters, a by-product of cotton processing. Developed by Jilin Chemical Fiber, it uses recovered cellulose as the raw material for regenerated viscose fibre. Ecojilin is recognised for incorporating recycled cotton-derived material into the production of viscose.

Cable knit is a knitted construction featuring raised, twisted or braided motifs created by crossing stitches. The cables form a distinctly three-dimensional surface and are usually set against a flatter knitted background. It is particularly common in substantial sweaters and traditional knitwear.
